Description:Meadow Brook Theatre located on the Campus of Oakland University, in Rochester, Michigan is accepting applications for Sound Designers. MBT is looking to expand its pool of Sound Designers. This season MBT will produce 6 shows from the ground up. The shows include Catch Me if You Can, All Shook Up, What The Constitution Means to Me, Come From Away, Million Dollar Quartet, and Always A Bridesmaid.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): -Creating the sound design concept for the production -Designing, selecting, and facilitating the creation of pre-recorded music, sound effects, and other pre-recorded audio -Creating the show QLab file in cooperation with the Audio Engineer -Setting the EQs for vocal microphones and bands (if applicable) in cooperation with the Audio Engineer -Attending sound checks, technical and dress rehearsals, and production meetings as scheduled -Working with the Production Manager and Audio Engineer Please send your cover letter, resume, and portfolio to: Brian Kessler, Production Manager at: [email protected]
