Earlier this year Strike a Light Arts & Heritage worked with our Oral History volunteers to interview 18 people around their memories of Brighton Dome and our other venues. These interviews are an important part of our growing Heritage collection. We are seeking an imaginative sound artist to give these stories a new creative life alongside some creative activities.

We have a fee of £4500 for this work.
You must be self-employed, have your own equipment to deliver this brief, with relevant insurance, and be responsible for your own tax and with permission to work in the UK.
Please send Expressions of Interest via email to: [email protected], along with a link to 3 past sound projects that you are most proud of (we are particularly interested to know of any heritage-related projects). Please include your CV and explain why this project would be of interest to you in no more than 200 words.
Deadline: Mon 11 Jul 2022, 5pm
Selection process: w/c 11 Jul.
Ideally starting 18 or 19 July with a start-up meeting, where you will meet the Heritage team to learn more about the project and agree the route forwards, including days/times when you can access our building (mainly July, due to maintenance work taking place in August).
Sound work to be completed by Friday 1 September 2022
