A La Folie Théâtre is a pretty little Parisian theater located in a tree-lined courtyard in the 11th arrondissement. Opened in 1990, under the name of Théâtre de l'Épouvantail, it was taken over in 2008 and became A La Folie Théâtre with the creation of a second performance hall. Today, we have 2 performance halls, one with 94 seats and the other with 49 seats.
We present shows all year round:
- very eclectic audiences: classics, comedies, dramas
- young audiences for children from 1 to 10 years old
Job Description
We are looking for a lights and sound manager to join our team of 4 managers, and work in our small 49-seat room and/or our large 94-seat room.
The person sought will be in charge of:
- welcoming the companies
- carrying out technical implementations, sometimes with lighting creations
- ensuring control of tickets at the entrance to the room and helping the public to find their seats (free seating)
- to provide management (lights and sounds, see video) of shows for several services per week
