Anystage are looking for an experienced professional Show Rigger
You will be part of a skilled team delivering all technical aspects of our shows.
You will be specifically responsible for preparing, signing off and giving rehearsal and show clearance for human flying. Ensure all performer acrobatic equipment, both aerial and ground based, is kept and maintained in good condition, as well as show props and scenic elements. Check. inspect and maintain show rescue and recovery devices ensuring they are held in readiness.
You are part of a wider technical and Stage management team and must be prepared to learn and cover other positions.
This is a Seafarers Employment Agreement. Hours of work will be under Maritime Labour Convention Regulations
Requirements:
Skills and experience
o Must be able to work safely with various rigging disciplines, including, but not limited to, stage automation, automated performer flying rigging systems, manual rigging systems and various performer flying apparatus.
o Advanced experience of daily checks, referencing operations, show programming, performance terminology and stage directions.
o Good time management skills
o Ability to speak English clearly and distinctly at C2 level.
o Ability to read and write English to interpret written procedures
People skills
o You must be able to work well with others – including fellow technicians, performers, and other shipboard staff.
o You should be empathetic, firm, caring and resilient.
o Punctuality is of prime importance
Prepare To Present:
PEME Seafarer's Medical certificate
2 MMR & Varicella Vaccination or proof of Immunity
Yellow Fever Vaccination
Tetanus vaccination in the last 10 years
