Description of the
CIRCa company / organization , Pôle National Cirque organizes the main contemporary circus festival in France. CIRCa has unique equipment, the CIRC (Center for Creation and Artistic Research), dedicated to Circassian creation and the development of original territorial cultural action.
CIRCa is developing a project whose axes are: support for contemporary creation in the Circus Arts, the dissemination of live shows, the current CIRCa Circus Festival, public awareness and CIRCa Nomads.
Job Description
Under the authority of the Technical Director and in trio with two other principal stage managers, he / she is responsible for hosting shows and events.
He / she:
- Ensures the preparation and coordination of certain receptions of shows in broadcast or creation residency, or services provided by CIRCa:
o Analysis of technical sheets
o Contacts with companies to finalize requests for technical and personal material
o Relations with suppliers for requests for quotes and equipment reservations
o Monitoring of the operation of compliance with negotiated conditions and necessary adaptations
o Referral to the teams on these receptions
- Give the elements obtained to the technical director for validation and realization of the schedules, budgets and directives given,
- Ensures the management of all types of shows, in all types of performance venues, preferably in the area of his specialty.
- Ensures the implementation of the settings and handling of the devices, preferably in the field of his specialty
- Ensures the current maintenance of the equipment
- Ensures the arrangement of the places of performances at the end of the shows and on defined days in the schedule by the technical director.
- Shall respect the internal regulations, the safety regulations at work as well as the wearing of PPE
- Guarantees the respect of safety instructions and the wearing of PPE by the personnel placed under his authority
- Guarantees the cleanliness of the equipment and places used (equipment, vehicles, places, marquees…)
- Can supervise as a tutor for unqualified personnel in training or apprenticeship.
Full-time contract annualized at 1575 hours / year.
The working hours are established according to the establishment's programming and activities; high availability and flexibility required; frequent evening and weekend work - within the framework set by the collective agreement for artistic and cultural companies
Description of the desired profile
Adapted training or experience accordingly.
Skills in assembling mobile structures would be appreciated.
