Description:Company: Treehouse ShakersLocation: Queens, NY Compensation: Rehearsal Pay, $15 an hour, Performances $100-$125 per performance. Per Diem for out of town performances Treehouse Shakers, a Dance-Theater Company, is seeking performers who are strong dancers, who are also puppeteers and actors. Seeking individuals who are excited to be a part of a larger company. Although, our work is specifically created for babies to teens, we are seeking professional, hard-working and talented individuals, who will continue to challenge and elevate the work. Our work is extremely high-quality, artistic and original. We are specifically casting several roles, including for an original immersive experience play, Flutter, seeking a strong dancer. For The Boy Who Grew Flowers seeking a main character, Teacher, who must be able to dance and pick-up choreography quickly. Also seeking understudies and roles for our productions, Sail Away, Hatched, and Ensemble and Leads for The Boy Who Grew Flowers. We are seeking performers who are professional, enjoy young people and working with others, and are committed to a collaborative process. BIPOC performers and those who identify as LGBTQ+, trans, and non-binary are strongly urged to apply. Audition: October 20, 2023.
