Description:

A pioneering dance collective invites talented individuals to join the next developmental phase of "REBOUND," an expanded iteration of a significant existing work. This project offers an exciting opportunity for both professional dancers (two positions) and interns (two positions) to contribute to new creative material and in-depth choreographic research, marking a fresh creative chapter beyond a mere restaging. Auditions are scheduled for July 5, 2026, in Mougins, France. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a robust contemporary technique, a strong classical foundation, and excellent improvisation abilities. Diverse movement backgrounds are considered a valuable asset. This opportunity is open to performers of all genders. Key rehearsal periods include January 4–16, 2027; one week in February 2027 (dates to be confirmed); and April 10–24, 2027. Applicants must commit to full availability across all specified rehearsal periods. The performance is set for April 24, 2027, at the prestigious Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Candidates must either reside in Europe or possess the legal right to work within the European continent. Compensation includes coverage for rehearsal and performance fees, along with accommodation. Please note that travel expenses and food costs are not provided. Beyond the immediate project, this audition serves as an excellent chance to forge professional connections and explore potential collaborations for the 2027/28 season. To apply, please submit a comprehensive CV, recent photos, a compelling motivation letter, one contemporary repertoire video, and one improvisation video. It is essential to clearly state whether you are applying for an internship or a contract position. When filming videos, ensure they are shot closely and with sufficient clarity to allow for detailed observation of your movement quality and artistic presence. The application deadline is June 5, 2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, with notifications sent out no later than June 12, 2026.
