Bridge is seeking dance, movement, theater, and performance artists for a new, yet-to-be-titled performance work written by Michael Workman for A Festival of Holes 2026. The project is funded through Bridge’s 2026 grant from The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
The work will function as a unique prompt-based performance play structure rather than a conventional dance presentation. It may include written instructions, performance scores, interactionist elements, guided improvisation, spoken or semi-scripted material, and some degree of monologue or text-based performance. Selected participants should be comfortable working in an interdisciplinary format that may move between dance, theater, performance art, public action, and experimental score-based practice.
