Description:White Plains Performing Arts Center's Summer Theatre AcademySeeking a Director/Choreographer for their summer theatre camp production of Disney’s Descendants running July 13-August 1. Please note this position not only is responsible for directing/choreographing the show but also must be able to run theatre games, classes, and other camp activities throughout the day. Candidates must have extensive experience working with children, educational theatre practices, and previous experience in a similar environment. Campers are 4th-10th graders. All CDC and NYS camp guidelines are being followed for the duration of the camp allowing for smaller groups etc. Camp runs Monday - Friday 10 am-4 pm at White Plains PAC in White Plains. There is no Housing or transportation provided, the theatre is located 35 min from NYC by car or train and walking distance from the Metro-North Train station.
