Landestheater Niederbayern is seeking 2 professional male/male-identifying dancers and 2 professional female/female-identifying dancers for a production of ‘Orfeo ed Euridice’ directed by Johannes Reitmeier, conducted by Ektoras Tartanis, choreographed by Rae Piper and choir direction by R. Florian Daniel.

When: 13.01.25 – 15.06.25

Deadline for applications: 11.10.2024

Description of opportunity:
DATES
• Rehearsal period starts 13th January 2025
• Final rehearsals from 10th February 2025
• Premiere – 22nd February 2025
• 16 perfomances in total
• Contract ends / last performance on 15th June 2025

FEE/TERMS
• Monthly fee: 2.800€ (non-negotiable) for the duration of the piece
• Accommodation: all necessary overnights in theater apartments free of charge (taxes may apply)
• Other: travel expenses for a limited amount of travel (negotiable)

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• A bachelors degree in dance from a recognised dance training institution or equivalent vocational training
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience
• Soloist level in classical ballet technique and contemporary/modern technique
• Experience in one of the following techniques: Graham, Horton, Cunningham, Limon, Release
• Excellent partnering skills
• Strong acting ability
• Experience of narrative work
• Ability to work collaboratively and generously within a tight-knit company
• An EU passport or valid permission for permanent work in the EU
