Description:

The Texas Shakespeare Festival is a rotating repertory professional theatre in East Texas. Their 2026 season of shows are: Midsummer Night's Dream, Emma, Hamlet, 1776, and The Reluctant Dragon.

May 12 arrive /July 29 depart
$4,500 stipend / up to $300 travel / double occupancy dorm housing / 11 meals a week

Minimum Requirements: Experience with various scenic construction techniques and materials; strong woodworking skills; proficiency with time management; ability to routinely lift at least 50 pounds, spend extended periods of time on your feet, work a varied schedule, and work at heights above 25'.

Responsible for:

Building all scenic elements for the four-show rotating repertory season and children's show

Serving on changeover crew (no run crew assignments)

Assisting with company strike
