Summary
The Stage Automation and Integration Engineer will be responsible for assigned aspects of stage technologies including theatrical automation, rigging and related control systems. The Stage Automation and Integration Engineer will operate and maintain existing equipment and systems, as well as design, fabricate, and integrate new technology and systems to support traditional and new media applications. These responsibilities include a full range of duties pertaining to technical and performance operation of the concert hall, theater and studio spaces as well as art exhibitions and installations throughout the entire building.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Theater, Production Technology, or related field
- 5 or more years of experience in the following:
- -Experience in general theatre, with minimum 2 years theatrical rigging
--Experience with managing crews for production, load-ins and strikes
--Extensive knowledge and experience with typical theater rigging methods and computer-controlled
rigging
