An innovative European collaborative project invites contemporary circus artists to revolutionize their creative process by integrating audience perspectives directly into their work. This pioneering venture seeks artists keen on utilizing audience feedback as a crucial co-dramaturgical tool for the evolution of contemporary circus. Selected participants will engage in three distinct international residency experiences across Croatia, Germany, and the Netherlands. The program offers opportunities for work-in-progress presentations, followed by structured, constructive feedback sessions. Artists will benefit from collaboration with a diverse community of peers and seasoned experts, culminating in a final showcase of their developed work at a renowned International Festival. Substantial financial assistance, including full coverage for travel and accommodation, will be provided. Applications are encouraged from contemporary circus artists or established collectives, particularly individuals or groups residing in Europe or any Creative Europe participating country. The project welcomes proposals currently in their initial or intermediate phases of development, from creatives demonstrating genuine enthusiasm for audience interaction and collaborative creation processes.
