An esteemed European dance company is seeking highly skilled professional dancers and dedicated interns to join an exciting new creative phase for an acclaimed work. This opportunity involves the development of "REBOUND," an expanded iteration of an existing piece, incorporating fresh choreographic research and new material. This is a unique chance to contribute to both a restaging and a significant new creation. Auditions will take place in Mougins, France, on July 5, 2026, situated in the picturesque South of France. We are looking for two professional dancers and two interns. Ideal candidates will possess a robust contemporary technique, a solid classical foundation, and strong improvisation abilities. Additional movement backgrounds are considered a valuable asset. This opportunity is open to all genders. Rehearsal periods are scheduled for: January 4–16, 2027; one week in February 2027 (dates to be confirmed); and April 10–24, 2027. Applicants must be fully available for all specified rehearsal dates. The culminating performance is set for April 24, 2027, at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Rehearsal fees, performance remuneration, and accommodation will be provided. Please note that travel expenses and food costs are not covered. Candidates must be based in Europe or legally authorized to work within Europe. To apply, please submit your materials. Your application should include: a comprehensive CV, recent photos, a compelling motivation letter, one video showcasing contemporary repertoire, and one improvisation video. When applying, clearly state whether you are seeking an internship position or a professional contract. Ensure your videos are filmed with sufficient clarity and proximity to allow for detailed observation of your movement quality and artistic presence. Applications must be received by June 5, 2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, with responses sent no later than June 12, 2026. This audition also presents an excellent opportunity to forge connections for potential future projects and collaborations during the 2027/28 season.
