Production Technician (sound)


Cadogan Hall is a busy venue in Chelsea hosting a wide variety of live events ranging from classical concerts to contemporary music, Jazz, conferences and spoken word performances. We are a small, dedicated team in the technical department who supply excellent service to the Halls hirers.


The Hall is looking to recruit a technician to supplement the Technical department. The main skill we are looking for is the ability to engineer live sound on bands, musical theatre and conferences to a high quality level using the in house PA system. Knowledge of Yamaha control systems and Dante would be helpful. Additional requirements are the ability to carry out manual handling tasks including setting out and striking of sound equipment and staging. Computer literacy is essential, the technician would be using the Microsoft office suite and Artifax event diary system (training will be given). The ideal candidate would be calm, polite, enthusiastic and proactive. If you have any orchestral lay out knowledge, that would be an advantage.

Working hours are a 40 hour week on a flexible 7 day rota, with no overnight working. You would receive a non-contributory pension and private medical insurance after a qualifying period.
