SEEKING
Boomerang Theatre Company (Tim Errickson, Artistic Director) seeks a Production Stage Manager for its free outdoor production of The Taming of the Shrew in Central Park. The production is directed by Philip Emeott.

ABOUT THE SHOW
As part of Boomerang’s long-running free Shakespeare series, The Taming of the Shrew will be performed outdoors over four weekends in June 20th - July 19th, 2026. This production completes a three-year Shakespeare cycle and will be staged in the company’s signature intimate, actor-driven style.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE


Running rehearsals and performances
Maintaining schedules and production paperwork
Supporting communication across all departments
DATES
Stage Management begins: May 11th, 2026
Rehearsals begin: May 18th, 2026
Performances: June 20 – July 19, 2026 (weekends at 2 PM)

LOCATION
Performances at Central Park (near 69th St & Central Park West), NYC
Rehearsals at The Chain Theater Studios and Central Park, NYC
