Description:Production Stage Manager - America's Got Talent Live!LAS VEGAS, NV, USA /RESIDENT SHOWS – SOUTIEN ARTISTIQUE | ARTISTIC SUPPORT /TEMPS PLEIN | FULL-TIME/ ON-SITE ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Production Stage Manager – America’s Got Talent Full-Time Position We are looking for a Production Stage Manager to lead the Stage Management team at America’s Got Talent! The Production Stage Manager, in conjunction with the Resident Director (RD) and Company Manager (CM), acts as liaison between artistic and technical staff to ensure the show meets and maintains high quality standards, including artistic and acrobatic performance, choreography, cues, musical score, costumes, make-up, lighting, video, and sound design. The General Stage Manager will implement and follow up on artistic, acrobatic and technical adjustments and modifications for various components of the show. The Production Stage Manager will: - Call the show; - Manage backstage tracks; - Manage, train and hire Stage Management team; - Plan, prepare and follow up training sessions, rehearsals, meeting, etc.; - In conjunction with the Company Manager and Show Room Production Manager/Technical Manager manage the daily operations of the show; - Encourage communication within the creation team and collate information from the perspective of the running of the show; - Make sure training, staging and rehearsals run smoothly in accordance with the schedule and priorities; - Oversee the running of the show during rehearsals; - Coordinate and lead daily meetings with the creation and production teams during rehearsals; - Draft, distribute and follow up on rehearsal reports; - Organize and follow up on meetings with the artistic team on a regular basis; - Participate in Show Management Operations meeting; - In conjunction with RD support the process of Casting and sending GOs; - In conjunction with CM and RD support the process with Artist Management for on-call and temp contracts, extension, back-up payments, etc; - With the collaboration of the RD document and maintain records on each performer in terms of artistic progress, attitude and behavior; - In conjunction with RD and artistic team, organize and plan the integration of new performers and new acts into the show as well as performers returning to full duty after medical rehabilitation; - Enforce production rules, policies and procedures; - Apply progressive discipline; - Address suspension cases, in collaboration with CM; - In collaboration with RD, compose, deliver and follow-up Action Plans; - In collaboration with RD, CM and HR approve LOA; - In conjunction with RD and CM support, manage, and coordinate PR and marketing events; - In conjunction with RD coordinate artistic workshops; - Supervise and maintain emergency measures for ASD theater during performances; - Manage and submit timesheets for payroll purposes; - Manage tracking records for royalty purposes; - Supervise archival recordings; - Complete other job-related duties, as assigned by CM and RD. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: - College Diploma or the equivalent related work experience; - At least ten years of previous experience in theatrical stage management; - Previous calling experience and knowledge of Automated scenery, as necessary; - Working knowledge of Microsoft applications; - Understanding and ability to navigate network applications; - Superior organizational and priority-management skills, highly developed sense of initiative and attention to detail; - Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently on a multitude of tasks simultaneously; - The ability to work under pressure and adapt to change; - Self-reliance and team spirit; - Availability to work afternoon, evening and weekend hours (and periodic day hours) and all holidays, as scheduled; - Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Knowledge of other languages is an asset; - Multicultural experience is an asset; - Tour experience is an asset; - First Aid/CPR training is an asset; - Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire.
