Description of the organization
The Compagnie des Corps Caverneux is a circus company born in 2018 from the meeting of the artistic universes of Martin Cerf (juggler and acrobat) and Louise Mercadier (wire of ferist), both trained at Lido de Toulouse. It responds to the need of its two founders to place their work in the social and political realities of their time. It is based in particular on strong feminist convictions.
Georges et Martine (provisional title), an erotic circus duo for all audiences dedicated to public space, is the first project carried by the company. Its creation, initially scheduled for June 2021, is postponed to September 15 and 16 as part of the Furies festival in Chalons en Champagne.
