Description:

We are looking for a male performer who is a dancer and/or acrobat and/or physical theatre actor, who has the ability to use the body as an instrument and an interest in continuing the research, availability and joy in working in a group, experience, availability and autonomy in co-creation work. Desired but not binding characteristics: basic knowledge of acroporter and hand-to-hand is very welcome and/or willingness to learn; preferably under 35; preferably based in and/or with support in Modena and its surroundings. The meeting/audition will be held on April 15 and 16, from 11 am to 4 pm, in Rubiera (Reggio Emilia) – the precise location will be communicated via email, please note that it is reachable on foot from Rubiera station. Availability for both days is ideally required, please report any difficulties in this regard. At the meeting, we will work in a group on some choreographic materials already produced by the company. You are required to bring a short physical piece and a short recited text, to be shared for collective work. The commitment periods scheduled so far, which include both rehearsal days and some performance outcomes open to the public, are the following: May 11-15 (to be confirmed), May 18-24, May 29-31 (to be confirmed), June 8-11, September 1-4, September 7-12. Further periods of creation and performances are being defined. We are slightly flexible with a few days of absence but ask for real and effective availability for the indicated days, and to immediately report, already in the application, any periods already committed. The performance and creation venues will currently be in Emilia, between Modena, Reggio Emilia and Ferrara. Creation and shows are (obviously) paid, the fee will be agreed upon together based on actual availability.
