Cirque Du LA is Louisiana’s premier aerial and dance exhibition, blending the artistry of pole, slings, lyra, silks, ballet, contemporary, theatrical performance, and more into one unforgettable evening. This one-of-a-kind showcase brings together elite dancers from studios across the state, each selected through open auditions, to create a tapestry of movement, storytelling, and imagination.
With the theme “Sweet Dreams & Nightmares,” every act invites you to journey through the whimsical, the haunting, and the extraordinary. Transforming the stage into a dreamscape unlike anything Louisiana has ever seen.
Cirque Du LA is a celebration of courage, creativity, and community. It is a chance for artists to shine, for studios to unite, and for audiences to experience the magic of aerial dance at its highest level.

Audition Information
We are searching for Louisiana’s most passionate and talented aerialists and dancers to bring “Sweet Dreams & Nightmares” to life, coming to Lake Charles, LA | Summer 2026. Official date to be determined. Cirque Du LA is a prestigious exhibition where artistry, storytelling, and courage take center stage.
Dancers will be selected through our open audition process. Performers will represent their studios on a professional stage, sharing original acts in pole, silks, lyra, hammock, and other aerial disciplines.
What we’re looking for:
Strong performance quality and stage presence.
Original choreography that highlights creativity, individuality, and flow.
Professionalism and commitment to rehearsal and show dates.
Audition Details:
Non-refundable audition fee per dancer: $25
Studios and independent artist’s are welcome.
Please provide a reel of your work, previous show performance clips, or 1 minute video of choreography. Video submission should be no longer than 4 minutes long.
You may include multiple apparatus clips in audition video reel.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals will be determined in collaboration with each studio. We’re giving studios and their dancers creative freedom in preparing their pieces that follow our theme.
Each individual studio will present 3 dance numbers, with rehearsals primarily organized by the studio itself. In addition, Bayou Sol will schedule:
One rehearsal with each individual studio once their choreography is solidified.
Full cast rehearsals prior to the show.
Dates will be determined.
This ensures both artistic independence and cohesive coordination for the final performance.
