Description:CircusDanceFestival is seeking short performances from the circus and dance field, created for a 360° stage setting. Submit your solo or duo work, in the air or on the floor, lasting up to fifteen minutes, until 1st December 2025.Selected works will perform on the 360° stage at CircusDanceFestival in Cologne. Particular encouragement for circus artists from Catalunya to apply (in the frame of the Catalonia-Germany Circus Season 2026) Performance dates at CircusDanceFestival 22 or 23 May 2026 (Open Call international) 24 May 2026 (Open Call Catalunya) The basic requirements are: The work is for 360° with audience all around Solo or duo Length between 8 and 15 minutes Fits on the CDF outdoor roundstage in daylight situation Easy technical support, possible to perform within a triple-bill You can be a graduate from circus or dance school, an autodidact, young artist, a late-career changer or a cross-disciplinary artist. Your work can be funny, smart, contemplative, queer, poetic, critical – we are curious! Our focus is on applications from around Europe, to keep travel distances sustainable. Applicants still pursuing their formation are not eligible to apply. Applications by women, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC and people with disability or a refugee or migration background are explicitly welcome.
