Description:

We are seeking passionate and experienced Dance Teaching Artists to join our team for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. We are looking for specialists proficient in a diverse range of styles, including Hip Hop, African Dance, Latin Dance, K-Pop, Step, Bollywood, Jazz, Modern, and early childhood dance. Prospective Teaching Artists are invited to attend one of our audition sessions. Auditions will be held at the Amanda Selwyn Dance Studio in New York, NY. Candidates must be available for the entire duration of their chosen audition slot. Available dates include August 12, from 2:15 PM - 5:15 PM, and September 8, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Our Teaching Artists lead engaging in-school or after-school dance programs within public schools across all five boroughs of New York City. Compensation for these impactful roles begins at $45 per hour, which includes paid time for curriculum development and professional training. Programs typically run during school hours (8 AM - 3 PM) or in the after-school period (3 PM - 6 PM). Ideal candidates will possess:
* Availability for 1-5 days per week, either between 8 AM - 3 PM (for in-school programs) and/or 2:30 PM - 6 PM (for after-school programs).
* Demonstrated experience across various dance forms, including Hip Hop, African, Latin, K-Pop, Step, Bollywood, Jazz, Modern, and early childhood dance.
