Description:This new £12,500 co-commission will support the development of a new dance performance including public work-in-progress showings at scratch nights throughout 2026-27.The co-commission is open to dance artists who live and work in the North of England. This new co-commission will support the development of a new dance performance including public work-in-progress showings at scratch nights throughout 2026-27. The co-commission is open to dance artists who live and work in the North of England. Selected artists will benefit from: – £12,500 commissioning fee – Scratch Night performance opportunities in Manchester, Newcastle & Leeds – Residencies – Technical residency space – Advice and support on access, inclusion, sustainability and tour booking – Mentoring & dramaturgy – Fundraising & producing support The co-commission fee is supported by Yorkshire Dance, Cheshire Dance, Lancaster Arts, Dance City, Lowry with in kind support from the wider partnership.
