A prestigious national initiative invites creative professionals and organizations to submit their groundbreaking work for the 2026 Arts & Culture Awards. This esteemed event, scheduled for August 21, 2026, celebrates "Our Nation's Creative Excellence" by honoring outstanding achievements, innovation, and excellence across the country's diverse cultural and creative landscapes. Building on a legacy established in 2024, previously known as the Cultural and Creative Industry Awards, this program is dedicated to acknowledging a wide spectrum of creative disciplines and practitioners nationwide. Categories span a comprehensive range, including audio-visual, interactive media, performing arts, literature, film, heritage, design, visual arts, and digital content. Stakeholders are also encouraged to propose qualified individuals from their networks to serve as supporting adjudicators, with submissions for this role due by June 24, 2026. The submission window for award entries commenced on June 19 and will conclude on July 17, 2026. An intuitive online portal has been set up to facilitate all submissions. All practitioners, organizations, and collectives within the creative sector are strongly encouraged to participate and present their work for this esteemed recognition. Categories for recognition include: Audio-Visual and Interactive Media, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Crafts, Literary Works, Design and Creative Services, and Heritage and Museums. Broad participation from across all cultural and creative industries is vital to ensure the awards remain competitive and truly representative of the nation's rich and diverse creative landscape. Industry stakeholders, member organizations, and networks are urged to disseminate this information widely and champion participation among eligible individuals and organizations. Nomination forms can be accessed directly via the online portal.
