We’re on the lookout for talented musicians to lead fun, feel-good choir sessions across the UK! Help bring Rock Choir to your local communities! No conducting experience needed. Role Overview What is a Rock Choir Leader? A Rock Choir Leader is the heart and soul of a local Rock Choir group — they’re the ones who lead rehearsals, bring the energy, and make the magic happen! A Rock Choir Leader is a professional musician (a singer with piano/keyboard skills) who: Leads weekly choir rehearsals Teaches our unique Contemporary arrangements in an engaging, accessible way Brings fun, energy, and encouragement to every session Creates a safe and uplifting environment where anyone can enjoy singing - no matter what their background or experience in music is Conducts performances, local gigs, and larger events like arena shows or media appearances Schedule: Choirs run Monday – Thursday 2 Friday meetings/term 3 Training courses/year Occasional performances outside of the usual teaching week Key skills you'll need: Strong vocals and piano/keyboard ability (able to lead while accompanying) Confident public speaking and group leadership A passion for teaching music and helping people grow Ability to learn and teach Rock Choir’s contemporary arrangements Ability to travel locally for rehearsals and events Why It's a Great Gig It’s a paid role Full Training is provided You become part of a national network of musicians and creatives You make a real difference in people’s lives — boosting confidence and community Big performance opportunities (think TV, festivals, The O2!) Training and Support - If successful, you’ll receive full training and all the resources you need before leading your first Rock Choir choir session with us. 4. Join the Rock Choir family - Step into your new role as an official Rock Choir Leader and begin inspiring our communities through music! Video Guidelines: Choose any song you love, but we recommend something contemporary — Pop, Rock, or Musical Theatre work great! Your video should be at least 2 minutes long, with clear audio so we can hear your voice and piano playing clearly.
