Following the recent announcement of the new musical production of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, the production companies have set in motion the machinery to find the cast that will bring to life Charles Addams' unforgettable characters. This new venture, a renewed collaboration between both companies after productions like HOUDINI, is scheduled to officially premiere at the Calderón Theater in Madrid for the next autumn season.

Artists interested in participating in this selection process must register through the official casting portal. For the application to be evaluated, it is essential to attach an updated artistic resume, recent close-up and full-body photographs, and audiovisual material demonstrating vocal and acting abilities. Once all applications have been reviewed, the production team will contact those selected for the in-person phases that will take place in Madrid.

The direction and adaptation of this production are handled by Federico Bellone, a renowned name in European musical theater responsible for major productions such as THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA or CABARET. With this new version, the companies promise a spectacular staging that will once again bring the Addams universe closer to the Spanish public, combining dark humor and romanticism in one of Broadway's most beloved musical comedies.

• GOMEZ ADDAMS:

An elegant man of Spanish descent who deeply adores his wife and children, feeling immensely proud of his Addams lineage. In the plot, he finds himself trapped between his daughter and his wife, forced to hide Wednesday's big secret from Morticia. The actor must possess a great sense of comic rhythm and be a good dancer.

• WEDNESDAY ADDAMS:
Stage age: 18-22 years
Vocal range: A3 - E5
The family's gothic older sister, who combines her father's heart with her mother's sensibility. Her main conflict arises when she falls in love with a "normal" boy whom she brings home to meet her family, trying to balance the relationship with her "strange" lineage and her new love. The character shows compassion, a point of stubbornness, and strong determination, also requiring powerful belting.
