Description:Open call for Swedish-speaking multidisciplinary actors and circus artists/acrobatsForsviks Bruksteater is looking for very skilled multidisciplinary circus artists/acrobats who are also actors, or actors who are acrobats, for the new original play "Murder at the Red Mill totally doesn't shit". The rehearsals start at the end of June 2026 and the performances will be played in July and August 2026 at Forsviks Bruksteater in Sweden. We are looking for candidates with strong artistic abilities, clear personalities and professional experience. Apply only if you are multidisciplinary as both Actor and/ and Acrobat and interested in creating new stage material based on a newly written script, your skills and experience. What do you get out of the project? The project gives you the opportunity to work in a professional comedy theater production for a limited period in the summer of 2026, where you can show more of your artistic skills without having to "fit in" - because you already do! The show will be a professional contemporary physical father based on a new script, with music and designed according to each participant's skills. The physical parts of the performance will be developed and created specifically around the accepted participants. Welcome to Red Mill - the workers' housing that is next door to Forsviks Bruk, where the nights offer more drama than the theater and the cinema combined. Here you would rather shine at the curtain of the bachelors than sit still in the salon... and the most unlikely things can happen. But when the smug utility troubadour is found lifeless on the floor in Red Mill - with a bag of popcorn in hand and a feather nest around the neck - time freezes. Suddenly, the party becomes a murder investigation where everyone is a suspect and where secrets risk being revealed. In the chaos, forbidden love and affairs sprout - between neighbors, colleagues and arch-enemies. The longer the investigation goes on, the more everything sorts out - until the audience itself almost becomes part of the chaos. IT'S TOTALLY SHITTING! The themes of the comedy include: social structures in a Swedish city healthy and unhealthy ways to make a living themes from the 1930s and 1940s Swedish family and business life (including a Swedish perspective on war) to be different and stand out, but still hide Swedish rural mentality ("we've never done so") What are Forsvik's utility theater? General information Rehearsals and performances take place in a theater room in an industrial building (indoor) in Forsvik, in the historical landscape of Skaraborg, halfway between Stockholm and Gothenburg.
