Job Description WHO WE ARE MARSM UK is a London-based events producer and promoter, amplifying the voices of dynamic and versatile artists from South West Asia and North Africa (SWANA) and their diasporas. One of the most prominent event producers within Europe to focus on the SWANA region, Marsm programmes a calendar of 40-50 events annually, from live concerts, European tours and club nights to festivals, community events and screenings and discussions. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for an experienced Production Manager who will lead on and deliver MARSM UK's impressive portfolio of events. The Production Manager will work closely with the Director, liaising with venues, artists, managers, and music industry professionals to produce and co-produce our calendar of events. The successful candidate must be highly organised in a fast-paced environment, exceptionally adaptive to different clients' needs and excel in communication. This person must have at least three years in event production, experience in and knowledge of music from the SWANA region and bring vision and energy to the role. Job Requirements At least 3-4 years proven experience as an Events/ Production Manager. Organised, work well under pressure and switch between projects seamlessly in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent command of English (other languages also desirable, particularly Arabic). Job Responsibilities Oversee the calendar of events in the UK & across Europe Identify opportunities & deliver on partnerships to programme events with artists from SWANA Set up, organise and maintain files on each event (e.g. production forms and budgets) Research & book music venues; negotiate terms with the venue before finalising the contract. Continuous communication with the venue team before, during and after the event. Negotiate agreements with artists/ representatives, before finalising and upholding the contract for its term. Set up event ticketing internally or via the venue + keep the team updated on ticket sales. Coordinate logistics for artists (visa applications, international travel, accommodation and taxis). Create production schedules with artists and venues.
