2Faced Dance is offering the exciting opportunity for an experienced male / identifying dance artist to join our core artistic team, in a full-time salaried position with the Company. The successful applicant will be required to re-locate to Hereford (if not already residing in the city).
We are looking for an experienced male / identifying dance artist with excellent contemporary technique and contact improvisational / partnering skills. Candidates must have at least two years’ experience working in a professional capacity. Extensive performance experience, familiarity with and openness to differing choreographic approaches and proficient teaching skills are all essential – this post will cover three main areas of responsibility:
• Rehearse and perform in Company repertoire (indoor venues / outdoor sites / digital) including a confirmed Spring tour of EVERYTHING [but the girl]
• Assist visiting artists and the Artistic Director in choreographic/creative development of residencies/projects
• Actively engage in the delivery of Learning and Participation programmes
Whilst the role will primarily be working in the Company’s home base of Hereford, the successful candidate will also be expected to tour nationally and potentially internationally throughout the year – locations will vary depending on the Company’s touring schedule and projects taking place at that time.

Auditions are by invitation only.
We are holding auditions on the following date at the company’s base in Hereford. The audition will take place over 2 days and all candidates will be required for both days. There will be no cuts made until midday on day 2.

Sunday 17 October 2021 – Application Deadline
Saturday 30 October 2021 – Audition (11am – 6.30pm)
Sunday 31 October 2021 – Recalls and interviews (10am – 5pm)
Contract Details:
Starting January 2022 – Full-Time Fixed Term contract (salaried)
Gym membership and annual allowance for massage/physio.
28 days holiday a year (including bank holidays)
