Guitar, Piano and Orchestral Percussion Tutors
Self-Employed
£31 - £32 per hour
Various Hours & Locations in SW19 & SW20
We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging guitar, piano and orchestral percussion / drum kit tutors to join our team delivering outstanding 1-1 and small group instrumental lessons in schools and Music Centres in Wimbledon & South Wimbledon.

Job Requirements
Self-employed instrumental teaching roles, subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Piano tutors required on Saturdays and during the week in South Wimbledon and Wimbledon.
Guitar tutors required on Wednesday evenings and throughout the week, ideally including on Thursdays in South Wimbledon and Morden.
Orchestral Percussion Tutor required on Wednesday evenings in South Wimbledon.

Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Inspiring and involving young people with a love of learning and making music.
Developing resources and adapting practice to suit the needs and interest of all learners.
Communicating with and reporting to parents/guardians and other professionals about pupils' learning needs, to identify and remove barriers to progress and welfare.
Following best practice in safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion
Supporting the vision and strategic aims of Merton Music Foundation.
What you can expect:
A dynamic and forward-thinking Music Education Hub with supportive leadership, curriculum, and administrative teams.
A learning community of over 80 peripatetic instrumental tutors and around 1500 children and young people learning every week.
MMF to handle administration of lesson fees and ongoing support with schools and parents/guardians, leaving you to focus on teaching.
