Instructors for High Flying Trapeze & Circus Arts
WHERE
- Camp Cayuga: Private, coed, nonsectarian, sleepaway camp for children ages 6-16.
- Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania. Less than 3 hours from NYC & Philadelphia.
- ACA accredited camp. Same family ownership since 1963.
WHEN
- This summer Mid-June to Mid-August.

FLYING TRAPEZE INSTRUCTORS
- We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are suitably qualified to teach children of all ages the fundamental skills required at our high-flying and low-flying trapeze.
- Staff provide instruction to children of all ages and abilities.
- Flying Trapeze Instructors are trained, evaluated, and qualified by our Flying Trapeze Director.
- Flying Trapeze Director is a professionally trained trapeze performer with experience in operating a trapeze instructional program for children.

FLYING TRAPEZE PROGRAM
- Trapeze Staff provides instruction from five positions: Low Practice Bar Spotter, Ladder Spotter, Pedestal Spotter, Pedestal Assistant, and Ground Spotter.
- Exercises include: grasping the bar & leaving the pedestal; swinging & releasing the bar; landing in the net & getting out; practicing knee hangs, bird's nests, splits; flying to the catcher using a variety of other techniques.
- Trapeze Clinics
- Trapeze Club Performance Shows

FLYING TRAPEZE FACILITIES
- High-Flying Trapeze Rig
- Low Single Trapeze Rig for beginners
- Stationary Single Rig also for circus arts
