A leading educational organization is seeking enthusiastic and skilled creative practitioners to enhance its acclaimed youth programs. This opportunity involves delivering engaging workshops and after-school clubs for children aged 5-12 across various locations, including Leeds, Harrogate, and York. The organization is looking for energetic facilitators to lead inspiring, hands-on sessions during the summer. Ideal candidates will possess expertise in diverse fields such as visual arts, filmmaking, animation, music, DJing, music production, circus arts, dance, theatre, 3D printing, forest school activities, and outdoor play. Individuals with a talent for captivating young minds and a specific creative skill are encouraged to apply. This is a dynamic, client-facing position requiring independent planning and execution of high-quality, age-appropriate workshops within a structured timetable. The primary goal is to foster creativity, build confidence, and ensure an enjoyable learning experience for all participants. While part of a supportive team, strong independent leadership, adaptability to different groups, and professional behavior management are essential. Programs are fast-paced, demanding reliability, excellent organization, and a strong presence. The role requires a minimum commitment of three full days per week during school holidays, with typical hours from 08:30 to 16:00, Monday through Friday. Flexibility is offered based on specialization: Leeds-only roles may require just two days per week, while Forest School practitioners could work up to five days. Opportunities for longer summer residencies are also available. Work locations may include Leeds, Horsforth, and Harrogate, so a willingness to travel is advantageous. Key Contributions include:
* Facilitating captivating workshops in your area of expertise.
* Designing sessions with clear objectives and structured activities.
