Job Description / Duties
TIP is looking for motivated individuals to join our Production Team. Reporting to the Technical Director, House Technicians will be responsible for providing technical assistance and expertise in operating the Springer Theatre and/or the Firehall Theatre, both for the Playhouse and for rental events.
Skills & knowledge in the areas of lighting, sound & stage craft are important aspects of these positions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Operation of audio systems and setup/patch audio
Hang, focus, operate and strike lighting equipment
Operation of lighting board
General stagecraft including carpentry
Qualifications / Required Skills
Post-secondary education in a related discipline
experience programing an ETC lighting console and Digital audio consoles considered an asset
Knowledge of health & safety procedures
Good communications skills, oral & written
Able to work in a collaborative environment, sometimes under pressure
Ability to interact with staff, external clients & patrons in a professional manner

Salary: $850-900/week based on a 40 hour work week
