SUMMARY

The Head Electrician, under the supervision of the Director of Production and in cooperation with the Resident Lighting Designer/Coordinator, implements the lighting design. The Head Electrician is directly responsible for the installation, and maintenance of all lighting equipment and the supervision of crews who install, hang, focus, run and strike the lighting equipment. The Head Electrician is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for the local Electrics crew, and for ensuring cordial collaboration with other stage departments to fulfill the needs of each production.
