Located in Pennsylvania’s beautiful Pocono Mountains, Camp Lindenmere is a private, coed sleepaway camp with a long, rich history. Established in 1935, our focus is on the individual growth of each child. Our campers range in age from 7 to 17. We run Sports, Arts, Performing Arts, and Adventure Activities on a daily basis in our beautiful facilities with an amazing camp community. A big part of that is because of our caring staff.
Working at a summer camp is the experience of a lifetime. The personal growth, rewards of working with children, and excitement of an active, diverse community will stay with you long after the summer ends. Our Head of Circus will act as the lead instructor for our Circus Program. They will lead and develop circus counselors, ensure a safe working environment, develop two circus shows, help campers achieve their goals and perform in the show with their parents watching on.
We love to get staff in early to train and develop your skills before and throughout the summer. There is always plenty to learn with all the different instructors you will meet from around the world.
There are 2 visiting days where the Circus Program puts on show for each one.
Compensation: We pay very competitive rates to attract the best staff. We cover Room and Board, meals, and team shirts, provide semi-private housing with WIFI, plus weekly laundry is included so you really have no expenses at all while at camp!
We can also be flexible with dates, as there is a pre and post-camp season. Our summers often run from May through October.

Requirements:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old or have completed a year of college.
- Strong and positive leadership skills to be an awesome role model for our campers and counselors.
- Able to communicate and work well with children and staff members.
- Able to teach/coach/guide counselors and campers from beginners through to advanced skill level campers
- As a condition of employment applicants must pass the staff screening processes which include: reference checks, criminal background checks, sex offender registry checks, fingerprinting, and other staff screening checks deemed appropriate.
