Description:
Flanders aims to facilitate exceptional efforts or a professional career for circus artists through development grants for individual artists . Process, research, and artistic experimentation take precedence over actual production, but your grant application must be convincing with your growth potential and concrete expectations.
A grant is awarded for a maximum of one year and can be used to cover a maximum of 80% of the international travel, accommodation and study costs directly related to your studies.
You can only apply for a development grant if you are a natural person residing in Flanders or Brussels. Not as an organization. Circus artists can receive a maximum of one grant per year.
There are three grant rounds per year. The next application deadline is October 15, 2024 , for initiatives starting September 1 of the same year.
