The opportunity comes at an exciting time as we begin touring our indoor and outdoor works again, move into a new home for West Midlands Circus Centre, and as we align the company to achieve its strategic aims for 2022-23.Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company as well as strategic planning and fundraising, the General Manager will work closely with the CEO and Board, in all aspects of company business, administration, and development. RoguePlay is an aerial theatre company in Birmingham, creating a unique blend of circus, contemporary dance, spoken word and physical theatre. Producing work indoor and out, nationally and internationally, we have a 10 year history of touring and collaborations with companies like Nofit State and Gravity & Levity, and we are the only female led circus organisation in the Midlands. Our work addresses highly personal themes such as motherhood, grief and sexual health to promote female solidarity, inclusivity and a positive image of women. We involve local people as participants and creators, regularly presenting in deprived areas.
