Description:

A venue consisting of a 900 seat proscenium theatre and a 250 seat three quarter thrust, presenting a wide variety of events from musicals, concerts, and dance recitals to professional conferences and city and state events, is seeking freelance lighting technicians and programmers.

Applicants must have at least three years of professional experience and must be comfortable programming and running shows on ETC Ion Xe lighting consoles. In addition to the basics of theatrical lighting, you should also have a strong understanding of how to focus a standard repertory lighting plot, experience running a follow spot, and understand the logistics and etiquette of working with lighting designers, stage managers, and production managers. Applicants who primarily have academic experience will be considered, but professional event lighting experience is highly preferred.
