Scope of Job:
Lead the Entertainment Production Team and produce fantastic family-friendly shows and live stage productions. Partnering with the Technical and Operational teams to successfully develop, produce, cast, teach, and mount new shows and experiences for the resort. The Entertainment Production Manager is the essential link for managing all Production elements, vendors and partners during the Pre-Production and Production processes of the Entertainment annual Core and Consumer offerings. While production managing all new show elements, the Production Team also partners closely with the Operational team supporting with casting, rehearsal & training, show maintenance, and performer evaluations.

Main Responsibilities:
Leads the production of all shows including audio production, costumes, choreography, stage direction and script writing.
Drive and manage all Pre-Production and Production Processes including department and resort meetings, timeline tracking, contracts, and all phases to product or performer sign-off.
Oversees all department casting and on-boarding processes for performers at the Resort.
Leads the audition, casting and onboarding process for shows and experiences.
Acts as the owner for all Entertainment audition and recruiting process including but not limited to, casting, audition logistics, recruitment, providing initial offers, and archiving all talent audition paperwork.
Assists the Head of Entertainment & Creative to create concepts for tentpole events and shows.
Manages all Production Meetings for Department and Resort preparing presentations, supplying agendas, maintaining production logs, and keeping meeting minutes.
Provide oversight to the installation of all Core & Consumer offerings as original designed.
Works with internal Production Specialists on secondary stage, park atmosphere, and other Entertainment offerings through script development and all design functions to mount show as directed through the Head of Entertainment.
Oversees the Performance development process including but not limited to: conducting show audits and performance evaluations, completes performer sign-off shows/sets, facilitates all performer trainings including animation, costume character, make-up, and other classes.
Oversees and leads the Entertainment Production Specialists and outside contractors overseeing Music, Graphic, Rendering, Storyboard, and Script asset development.
Responsible for sourcing and/or performing as Show Director, Musical Director, Choreographer, Staging Specialist as needed from internal or external resources.
Works with the Technical & Operational Teams in gathering all rehearsal support needs
Communicates, inspires, and maintains new project intent among all will maintaining collaborative relationships with executive leadership, department production, technical, costuming and partner department teams.
Creates budget schedules and projections of new concept costs.
Serve as Department Duty Manager and active Park Leadership Ambassador
Leads the Costuming Dept to inform on overall look and feel of the desired costume for each show and experience, to enable them to deliver the desired vision.
Lead the Costuming Assistant Manager and ensure the costuming operations runs smoothly.
Provides support and leadership for all staff daily, ensuring the department runs on schedule and resolving problems or challenges as they arise. This includes daily supervision of all MC’s.
Serve as Department Duty Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:
Background and Experience:

(3+) Years of proven experience in show writing/development, character/performer training, casting/auditioning, and production design experiences
(3+) Years of Theatre/Entertainment Production Management experience – theme park preferred
(3+) Years of Experience in Directing or Choreographing, with examples of Professionally produced shows.
Must have strong understanding of all creative , blue sky and production processes.
Trusted leader that guides with integrity and fosters a professional work culture
Successfully manage Production budgets including capital projects as assigned
Ability to work days, nights, and over holidays to support Peak and Off-Peak Entertainment offerings across all Resort functions.
Proficient in Microsoft & Adobe software products. Knowledge of purchasing and reporting systems.
Demonstrated initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills; Confident and outgoing presence with the ability to professionally interact with various levels of team members and leadership.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with a detailed oriented style and strict deadlines.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in theatre/performing arts or related field or equivalent professional
Experience within the Entertainment/Theatre / Theme Park industry.

Other requirements:

Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends to support evening rehearsals and Resort operations.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Involves lifting at least 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. in some departments. Work typically performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
