Summary

The Electrics Supervisor position reports to the Production Manager, Performing Arts/Emerson Stage. This role will oversee all electrics and lighting duties for scenic elements designed and produced for Emerson Stage and the Department of Performing Arts Theatre productions. As needed, the Electrics Supervisor will serve as Head Electrician or Designer on productions. This position will also independently teach electrics and lighting skills to students and supervise and train student designers to ensure successful production outcomes across various events and productions. This position involves close collaboration with Lighting Design faculty, Performing Arts faculty and staff, and the Office of the Arts. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and good teaching abilities.
