An acclaimed performing arts company invites applications from dynamic, multi-talented dancers under 27 years old. We are seeking 5-6 exceptional artists proficient in diverse dance forms, including contemporary, street dance, and floor work. Ideal candidates will possess remarkable creativity, strong improvisational skills, compelling theatrical presence, and distinctive talents that captivate and surprise. Auditions will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, on June 20-21, 2026. Established in Prague in 2015 by renowned choreographer and director Jana Burkiewiczova, this company is celebrated for its distinctive contemporary theatre. Jana's unique artistic vision, often enriched by collaborations with leading Czech designers, explores contemporary sociological themes through specific movement techniques and innovative artistic concepts. We are currently casting for an exciting new production slated for a March/April 2027 premiere. Selected dancers will be offered a project-based contract, necessitating full commitment during all rehearsal phases and scheduled performances. Key project dates are as follows: * Work-in-progress period: November 23 – December 11, 2026 (approximately 14 working days; specific dates to be determined).
* Main Rehearsal Block: Six weeks between February and March/April 2027 (exact schedule to be confirmed).
* Premiere: March/April 2027. Dancers selected for the project who do not reside in Prague will be responsible for their own accommodation arrangements. However, a fixed daily contribution towards accommodation expenses will be provided during the main rehearsal period in Prague, and minimum necessary travel costs will be covered. Please note that travel and accommodation expenses for the audition itself will not be reimbursed.
