BADA is looking for one DSM to join us for this Fall 2025's season of shows. BADA, the British American Drama Academy, is a drama school based in Gloucester Gate, London and this season's productions are four classic plays to be staged in December at Theatro Technis London.

BADA is looking for one DSM to join us for this Fall 2025's season of shows. BADA, the British American Drama Academy, is a drama school based in Gloucester Gate, London and this season's productions are four classic plays to be staged in December at Theatro Technis London. Dates are:
6th November meet with Directors,
17th November - 5th December rehearsals at BADA, typically from 10am to 6pm.
8 December - 19th December rehearsals in the venue plus showcase/final performances in the second week at the theatre. Rehearsal are daytimes (10-6) at BADA and daytimes with four evenings at Theatro Technis (the venue schedule is being finalised, but 4 days of technical rehearsals, 2 days of dress rehearsals (10am-6pm) and 2 days of performances (matinee and evening). BADA ensures that everyone works within the National Minimum Wage Legislation.
The fee is approximately £600 per week over the five weeks with a day rate for the director's meet and greet.
Each of the four shows will have its own professional theatre director, with a supporting production team, of which the four DSMs play a pivitol role. You will work on one show and lead rehearsal planning and work closely with the Director of your show and prepare the book for operating the show. The production team, led by the production manager, will provide support in realising each play's set, props, costume and technical needs and you will work closely with them as part of a small and tight-knit team. This role will suit someone who enjoy working in small teams, is efficient and a good communicator.
