We are looking for a capable, friendly and collaborative Deputy Stage Manager to work with us on our Christmas show, TINK! A Festive Neverland Fairytale this December.

Role Overview: Will call and control the staging of the show supported by the team

Job Requirements

Engagement period

Production Meetings during September - November (dates tbc)

Rehearsals: 19th Oct, 9th & 23rd Nov, 25th - 29th Nov, 2nd - 6th & 8th - 12th Dec

Performances: 13th - 28th December (no shows 18th, 25th, 26th December)

Role Overview: Will call and control the staging of the show supported by the team

Fee: £3750 for a 5 week engagment period, travel/accommodation in addition where agreed

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities

Supporting the producers, creatives, and production crew in delivering the show
Working with the Technical Manager in all aspects of health and safety
Assisting director, cast, and technical staff to produce the high standards expected
Call each performance, noting any issues and inconsistencies in the performance
Produce concise rehearsal notes on a daily basis and document the rehearsal process including blocking, entrances and exits, cues, and costume changes
To ensure relevant information is effectively communicated to the acting company, creative team and technical departments
Attend rehearsal, technical, dress and understudy rehearsals as required
Be able to operate QLAB
Support the technical staff in the run with pre-show set up and checks
