The Royal Swedish Ballet warmly invites applications from dancers who have a solid foundation in both classical and contemporary techniques.
We are seeking artists who demonstrate high technical skills, and who also bring curiosity, creativity, and genuine passion for dance, classical as well as contemporary, to the studio and to the stage.
We do prioritise previous professisonal experience and welcome dancers who would contribute their artistry to the company.
We are also looking for young dancers to our Youth Programme.
Auditions are by invitation only. We are expecially interested in dancers with refined classical technique, a personal artistic voice and distinct movement qualities.
Our repertiore spans from classical to neoclassical productions to contemporary works by choreographers such as William Forsythe, George Balanchine, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Mats Ek, Pär Isberg, Medhi Walerski, Wayne McGregor, Crystal Pite.

Written cover letter expressing your interest
Curriculum Vitae (CV): Include nationality, contact information, height, date of birth, and a detailed overview of your education and work experience.
Recent unedited videos (important for assessment):
Classical variation from the standard repertoire, danced in pointe shoes for female
Contemporary variation, from repertoire or own choreography/improvisation that shows range of movement.
Barre (3-5 min), showing both sides
Center works (3–5 min): Including adagio, pirouettes, petit and grand allegro.
