YOUR MISSION
· Design, manufacture and/or reproduce props (stage/costumes) according to the technical and artistic specifications required;
· Ensure compliance with the production deadlines of the assigned projects as well as their budget allocation;
· Research materials and new methods that can improve projects or solve technical problems;
· Transfer the multiple knowledge in the manufacture of accessories according to the acquired expertise;
· Submit to his manager the technical and artistic possibilities and constraints for the accessories;
· Participate in the evaluation of project costs;
· Make the technical and artistic adjustments requested;
· Carry out fittings with the artists in collaboration with the various stakeholders;
· Gather the information necessary for the development of technical documents; write and update the procedures to be followed, ensuring their accuracy, and produce and document the samples of the accessories;
· Perform the self-assessment of the quality of his work and have it validated if necessary by a resource person;
Provide operational and technical support to show teams and external partners to ensure the quality of deliverables, in collaboration with the support team;
· Participate in research and development activities as well as the simplification of accessories;
Participate in the creation of prototypes from an idea, an image or a sketch, taking into account the constraints in an artistic and acrobatic performance context;
Participate in team meetings, and various costume workshop projects and contribute to the development of the skills of your peers;
· Perform preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE
· DEC in theatre production or equivalent;
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacture of accessories, in the field of entertainment or the equivalent;
· Knowledge of SAP, Gérico, ADN and Cosmos. Optitex an asset;
· Ability to work in 3 dimensions with dexterity and speed;
· Ability to perform repetitive work, requiring repetitive movements, precision, and meticulousness and which may require some physical effort;
· Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment through openness and mastery of different techniques and to work within tight deadlines;
· Ability to adapt to the unexpected and to work in a team;
· Ability to work with certain hazardous materials, non-traditional materials or tools;
· Autonomy, sense of organization, versatility, flexibility and resourcefulness;
· Fluency in French and English, both oral and written;
· Availability to travel abroad according to the mandate.
