An international contemporary dance festival is seeking submissions from professional dance artists and companies for its France-USA themed event. Scheduled for October 22, 2026, in New York, this festival aims to strengthen connections between the French and American contemporary dance communities. Professional Franco-American dance companies, or those with significant artistic ties to both France and the U.S., are invited to present works between 8 and 30 minutes in length. All choreographic formats are encouraged. Selected artists will be awarded a $500 stipend and complimentary participation in the 'In Motion VII' workshops. Opportunities to teach for additional compensation may also be available. Applications must be submitted by August 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST. Required materials include a comprehensive CV, a detailed description of the proposed work, a YouTube or Vimeo link to a work sample (excerpt or full video), and a Google Drive folder for any supplementary materials.
