Description
The COMPANY STAGE MANAGER will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the company whilst the production is running. They will be responsible for the welfare of the acting company and the wider departments, and along with Head Office are responsible for the smooth running of the production. The role involves working closely with the Producers, Head of Production, DPM, and the stage management team. The CSM will be integral in maintaining the artistic standards of the production whilst running.
Main Duties
- To provide effective management to all staff under the CSM’s line management.
- Maintain regular dialogue with the Producers and Production department.
- Regular financial reporting, including weekly payroll and petty cash returns
- Ensuring the smooth running of rehearsals and the production.
- Maintain order and discipline amongst the resident company.
- Monitor and control overtime as required and take responsibility for the processing o timesheets.
- Oversee the delivery of stage management services for the production.
- Maintain regular communication with the cast, creative team and technical teams during rehearsals.
- Liaise with marketing department to organise publicity and press calls.
- Liaise with Wardrobe to organise wardrobe calls and fittings.
- Run the technical and dress rehearsals and ensure schedules are kept on track.
- Oversee the maintenance of the production.
Fee - £40-50k (Pro-Rata) as per UKT/Equity (Tour) and SOLT/Equity (London).
