Cirque Indy is seeking a CONFIDENT and ENERGETIC Manager of Operations to lead the business into its next phase of growth in service to its students.

The ideal candidate will be POSITIVE, ENTHUSIASTIC and have a PASSION for circus. Their mission will be to support the Cirque Indy team and community while driving sales growth and class offerings to fully meet the desires of our marketplace and maximize the profitability of the business.

We seek a committed LEADER who is highly MOTIVATED, GROWTH focused, dynamic, FRIENDLY and willing to learn, while building relationships with new and existing students. Applicants with coaching experience are valued.

The Manager of Operations will be responsible for the following:

Sales and Marketing - Come ready to learn and determined to achieve.

Lead generation - engaging with the marketplace to attract new clients
Grassroots marketing - driving interest in Cirque Indy
Forming and maintaining local partnerships
Targeted Advertising
Developing and evolving new ways to reach prospective clients

Sales - driving growth to membership conversion, class sales, and student retention
Smoothly and efficiently schedule prospective clients into their first intro class
Create retention plan for both new students and members. That includes a contact drip campaign.
Identify and direct resources towards CirqueIndy’s most profitable assets. Eliminate classes and programs that are not able to competitively support sales and profitability
Retaining members by providing value for them and communicating with them to ensure their needs are met
Strategically using promotions to drive sales from existing and prospective clients

KPI tracking and accountability - measuring and monitoring key performance indicators

Design and implement consistent tracking of important KPIs
Use KPIs to set specific goals
Use KPIs to inform strategic decisions and allocate resources effectively
Utilize KPIs to promote accountability and measure the efficiency of investments

Marketing - making sure marketing materials are engaging and properly targeted
Promote and maintain strong and positive Cirque Indy brand image
Develop marketing campaigns to achieve goals
Have mastery knowledge of Cirque Indy class and product offerings and educate clients about what Cirque Indy can offer to them






Student experience - deliver on our value proposition to our students

Maintain high quality of services that provide value for our students
Align instruction with the industry standards with regards to quality and safety
Ensure that the team is always welcoming and friendly with students and parents
Maintain excellent communication with students
Respond to emails within 24 hours
Resolve account issues promptly
Website and Instagram updated and accurate
Ensure that the gym space is clean, organized, and presents well for every class and event
Make sure that equipment is clean and ready for use for classes and events
Develop and maintain meaningful relationships and connections with Cirque Indy students, team, and instructors

Organizational Excellence, Management, Leadership

Foster a positive work environment through consistency and communication
Administer teacher trainings regularly to build a pipeline of future instructors
Design and administer continuing education requirements for team to ensure students are getting the best experience at Cirque Indy
Conduct performance reviews and growth plans for coaches and team
Hire and new team members and fire team members when needed
Maintain a well-organized catalog of business documents, curriculums, hiring resources and more
Safeguard the personal information of our staff and clients in record keeping
Make sure that equipment is inspected regularly, with inspection results properly documented
Review budgets to keep business spending on track with goals
Keep records of each purchase and receipt digitally or otherwise
Maintain Contractor Pay Costs at 33% of Gross Sales

Nurture Creative Space for Growth
Collaborate in the production of Circus Shows at our Venue
Produce Student Showcases
Oversee Summer Camps
Collaborate and Support our Performance Troupe
Seek to build growth opportunities for Students




OUR MISSION
- Support aerial instruction as a profession. Encourage our instructors in their growth as leaders, practitioners and teachers.
-Provide Safe Quality Circus education to our students with integrity, compassion, and consistency
-Create Community for our students and instructors that serves as a jumping off point for greater collaboration with other businesses, arts groups, and civic organizations

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary of $36,000 annually
Performance bonuses totalling $12,000 annually, paid quarterly
Healthcare stipend of $2500 annually
SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with employer match
1% employer match for first 2 years
3% employer match after 2 years
3 weeks of paid vacation
1 week PTO
Profit sharing structure
20% profit share over $100,000 of annual profit

Requirements:

Experience in Circus, coaching, gymnastics, leadership, Production, rigging are all highly valued.

High School Diploma or Higher 2+ years experience in a relevant position in a Circus education, Business, Theater, Production, or related field.

Ability to relocate for in person work to Indianapolis
