Job offer | Circus trainer for children (recreational classes)
Under the supervision of the coordination, the trainer's main task is to initiate and/or teach participants different circus techniques. Each employee is responsible for a group of eight to ten children. Since the clientele is made up of children aged from one to fifteen, he or she must have a great sense of responsibility, demonstrate patience, initiative and creativity, in order to provide young people with a unique, enriching and playful.

Brief description of tasks:

Ensure the safety of participants while promoting the learning of different circus techniques.
Manage and supervise your group of young people in order to optimize the learning of each participant in creativity.
Participate in team meetings and trainings.
Accomplish all other related tasks and external activities (creation of shows, learning notebook, lesson plan).
Looking after a group during the Winter and Spring 2023 sessions.
Requirements :

Experience in leading and/or teaching children.
Good physical condition.
Good knowledge of spoken and written French.
Love teamwork.
Master a minimum of three circus techniques (aerial, acrobatics, juggling, hand to hand, etc.)
Will be considered major assets ;

Hold or be in the process of obtaining a college and/or university degree in one of the following fields: animation and cultural research, recreation, leisure techniques, physical activities, teaching and other related fields.
Up-to-date first aid certification.
Training in theatre, acting and pedagogy.
Working conditions:

Saturday morning between 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Part time, 3 to 5 hours per week
Salary according to experience and internal policies in force.
Free training periods available for employees and discount on the cost of recreational classes.
