PROGRAM MANAGER: ECHO WEST


Reports to: Education Director


Supervises: Instructors and Front Office Coordinator (Echo West)


Employment Status: Regular, 0.8 FTE Exempt


Benefits: PTO and paid holidays, health insurance (Kaiser)


Schedule: Year-Round

Salary: $22 – $25/hr


Position Summary: The Program Manager at Echo West is in charge of the NW 17th Ave facility, managing the class schedule, instructors and delivery of programming; primary duties include:



In collaboration with Education Director, creating and overseeing class and camp schedules;

In collaboration with Education Director, staffing classes with Instructors;

Maintaining a safe, welcoming and engaging educational environment;

Overseeing a Front Office Coordinator such that delivery of services is maintained efficiently and effectively;

Overseeing scheduling for subs, workshops, private lessons, and events.

Communicating with students, families, instructors, and community members about all programming at Echo West.

Managing the Echo West facility, including overseeing the ordering of supplies, organization and sanitation of the space, and care of equipment and rigging.

Overseeing the safe use of existing equipment and rigging at Echo West.

Overseeing events at Echo West.


As well, this position supports the Executive Director with finances, marketing and communication including:



Tracking and reporting income generated from classes and events.

Tracking and reporting expenses, including Instructor hours.

Developing positive community relationships, with a particular attention to maintaining sponsorship and membership support.

Maintaining sponsorship and membership records.

Helping maintain accuracy and professionalism on our website, registration system, newsletters, and marketing materials as part of the management team.
